About

A senior industrial statistician with 26 years of cross-disciplinary R&D experience, 24 of them at Dow, and an unusually international career across Brazil, the UK, Switzerland, Spain, and the US. Currently the highest-ranking statistician at Dow — called in across multiple businesses to design experiments, develop methodology where none exists, and lead methodology adoption company-wide.

Externally recognized within the industrial-statistics discipline as a peer leader: Selection Committee Chair for the Fall Technical Conference Shewell Award, and Award Committee Member for the Youden Award and Wilcoxon Prize for Technometrics, the discipline's flagship journal.

Body of work spans rigorous methodology papers in statistics journals, applied papers across catalysis kinetics, oil & gas, microplastics, and coatings, an international fiber-testing standard, eleven Dow patent records (including one sole-inventor granted US patent), and co-authorship of the published description of Dow's company-wide Citizen Data Science program.
